We hit the gateway of Thailand and cruised the frantic tropical city Bangkok. Bangkok offered us surprises at every turn. City of skyscrapers, glittering gold temples and palaces, vibrant colourfull street markets, sophisticated shopping malls and the crazy night life combined together was an exciting introduction to South East Asia.
Whats interesting is that those sculpural works are not made by any professional artist, but by locals , carpenters and workshippers of the temple. They are works of art by non professional people.

we checked out the fringes of bangkok and went to the floating markets. Wooden canoes laden with multi coloured fruit and veges paddled by Thai women. Tourist Fun!!!
